What a wonderful surprise, Britt. Did you know that post-it notes can be turned into a classroom activity for National Poetry Month as sticky-note poetry. See Laura Purdie Salas’s blog this month. She is writing a sticky-note poem each day. If you or your students engage in this activity, I would love to post a few at my Poetryliscious Gallery. The invite is at my blog.
Hand written notes are the best way to get a pat on the back. You can always go back to them often to get a little extra pep in your step. Cute stickers are a bonus.
Pleasant surprises are the best.
