Best shows as declared by 7th graders

One day last week all my students came into class looking like zombies! On the spot, I decided I had to do something, anything; it was the most random moment. I requested all students stand up and push in their chairs; they, of course, groaned and complained. Quite seriously, I said, “I’m going to ask you a question. Once you give your answer, you may sit down. Answer quickly. We’re starting with ____ and snaking around.” Students looked around, got a bit fidgety, huffed and puffed at this seemingly impromptu assessment.

“Name your favorite Netflix show, GO.”

Students WOKE UP? Complete understatement. The most common shows (which of course ended up going beyond just Netflix) are below…

**Thank you to those who offered suggestions regarding what to write about. I opened my Keep notes this evening to scroll for ideas, and, successfully, here we are! 🙂

OOOHHHH! I’m totally stealing this for another post later this month. Thank you!

Also I have never heard of any of these shows, so now my knees and back aren’t the only reason I feel old today. =)

Haha I hadn’t heard of any of the shows either! I also forgot to include that one of the shows was actually recommended by my co teacher, and it’d probably be important to know that because I’ve watched two episodes, and I would hope no 7th grader has ever watched it! 🥴🤣
