SOLSC24 || 31: Best decision

The best decision I made this weekend was to not wash my hair this morning before church.

I know that sounds dramatic, but for someone whose extremely thick hair is such a chore to wash and style, I’m glad I chose to push the limit. We had so much fun celebrating the beautiful Easter afternoon with family at the park! And now my hair will be freshly clean for work tomorrow instead of ruined by the play and humidity of park fun 😉

    Sometimes, the small things in life can be big things – right?! Also – choosing your battles (even with yourself/your hair) can lead to more peace in your life. And that is always worth it! Congrats on completing the SOL challenge! 🙂

    I’ll say, this is one of MANY things that men don’t have to worry about! 🙂 I’ve got a nice little buzz cut that takes little care (other than the need for a hat so my head didn’t get sunburnt!).

    I’m glad you had a great afternoon and will be ready for the workweek! 🙂

    Britt,

    I’ve been one of those people who washes my hair every day, but this year I’m only washing it 2-3 times a week. I still get it wet and put conditioner on it, but I’m holding off on the shampoo. It saves me a few minutes and helps my hair stay healthy. I’m lucky that my gray is pretty fine and not bristly, Anyway, I totally get where you’re coming from.
