SOLSC23: Six sentences on day six

A pretty Monday Monday. But I normally love Mondays, so that’s weird. Students are wired before next week’s spring break. I love my city’s reader/writer community. With the teacher squad, I attended US Poet Laureate Ada Limón’s live reading tonight. I’m looking forward to sleep.

    Britt,
I didn’t anticipate jealousy as the emotion I’d experience from reading your six sentence slice, but here I am wishing I could have attended Ada Limon’s reading with you! I know you have a spectacular time.

Ada is amazing! I bet it was a wonderful evening to see her live. Did you listen to The Slowdown podcast when she was hosting it? It doesn’t seem the same for me now that another poet has taken over. She had an interview with Krista Tippett too that was great!
